James Venn Obituary

James J. Venn, 71, of Sun City Hilton Head, SC, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2024. God ended his pain and suffering and brought him to a better, peaceful place. Jim helped many people and was loved by all who knew him.

Jim grew up in Waldwick NJ, son of Frank and Patricia (Smithwick) Venn.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Ward; his son, Michael Venn (Josh); his brother Mike Venn (Tina) with sons Chris and Joe and grandchildren Samantha and Jack; his brother Billy Venn with daughter Sarah (Matt); and his brother John Venn (Amanda).

In lieu of flowers, please consider sending donations to the Wounded Warriors Project in memory of James J. Venn.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
