She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bluffton. She was formerly employed at Washington National Cathedral in Washington, DC. She is survived by one son, John F. Bishop of Millsboro, Delaware. She was predeceased by her husband and one son, Richard W. Bishop. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, July 21, 2009 in the Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC with burial in the Bluffton Cemetery.
