He was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 20, 1937. He was the son of the late John and Margaret Neubauer Faldermeyer. He moved to Bluffton from Long Island, NY in 2004. He was a retired manager for NYNEX Telephone Company. He was a member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church. He was a volunteer for Second Helpings. He was a US Navy veteran. He is survived by his wife, Francine P. Faldermeyer of Bluffton, SC; two daughters, Suzanne (Christopher) Sanacore of Long Island, NY and Cynthia (Michael) Patterson of Long Island, NY; and grandchildren, Katie, Sabrina and Christy Sanacore and Danny and Connor Patterson. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC at 11:00 am on Friday, July 24, 2009. The family will receive friends at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd. from 5 til 7 on Thursday, July 23, 2009. A Wake Service will be held at 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 3704, Memphis, TN 38103.
