Name: Tony Edward Cole Date: August 4th, 1960 - July 27th, 2009 Obituary: Tony E. Cole, 48, Hilton Head Island, died Monday July 27, 2009 at Hilton Head Medical Center. Born August 4, 1960 in Adel, GA, he was the son of the late Charles R. Cole and Stella Cole Lindsey. He attended the Cook County, GA schools and went on to study at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Tony moved to Hilton Head Island in 1980. He opened T.E.C. Services Maintenance and Repair in 1998, and later changed the name of his company to T.E.C. Services, Inc. when he obtained his Master Electrician’s license in 2001. Tony served on the Board of Construction Appeals for the Town of Hilton Head and also on the Heron Lake Property Owner’s Association Board. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Unanimity 418 and Hilton Head Benevolent Order of Elks 2771. Tony truly loved living in the Low Country and could be spotted dangling a line off the dock or feasting on sushi at the local restaurant. A one of a kind family man, Tony cherished the time spent with his friends and loved ones. His love of music and cooking made him popular with everyone. Tony’s warm smile and easy ways endeared him to all who knew him. There are no words in the English language to describe what a truly warm, kind-hearted, good man he was. Always putting others first was Tony’s hallmark. He is survived by his longtime partner, Jeanne Hicks, son, Anthony Tyler Cole of the United States Navy and daughter, Haley Cole Morrison of Fort Stewart, GA, one grandson, Tanner Morrison and siblings C. Ray Cole, Donna Leal, Cathy Hernandez all of GA and David Cole of CA and maternal grandmother Pat Kinard, GA. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, July 31, 2009 in the Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC. The family will receive friends from 1 til 3 prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
