Name: Sigrid Funke Teglia Date: May 19th, 1945 - February 3rd, 2010 Obituary: Sigrid Teglia, 64, of Bluffton, SC passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at her home. She was born in Marienbad, Czechoslovakia on May 19, 1945. She was the daughter of Erna Funke Vondra and the late Robert Funke. She and her husband had lived in Bluffton for four years. She was a member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church. She loved line dancing and loved boating. She enjoyed her friends and was a tremendous housekeeper. She was a true Carolina Girl. She is survived by her husband, Richard Teglia of Bluffton, SC; her mother, Erna Vondra of Bull Shoals, AK; two sons, Richard (Judy) Teglia Jr. of South Elgin, IL and Christopher Teglia of Bloomingdale, IL; one daughter, Lisa Davis of Jolite, IL; one sister, Frieda (Richard) Danderson of Bull Shoals, AK and seven grandchildren. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC at 11:00 am, Monday, February 8, 2010. The family will receive friends at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC from 4 til 7 pm on Sunday, February 7, 2010. A Wake Service will be held at 6:30 pm.
