She was born in Kansas City, Missouri on December 8, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Floyd King Leach and Elva Campbell. She had lived on Hilton Head Island for the past thirty years. She was owner of the D.C. Commercial Services of Hilton Head Island. She is survived by her husband, James T. Calhoun Sr. of Hilton Head Island, SC; one son, James T. Calhoun Jr. of Hilton Head Island, SC; one daughter, Teresa Lynn (Rob) Burke of Bluffton, SC; two brothers, Gale Leach and Gene Leach both of Kansas City, Missouri; and two grandchildren, Roman James Burke and Chole Janelle Burke. Graveside Services will be held at 5:45 pm on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 in Low Country Memorial Gardens, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 pm prior to the service. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Hilton Head Humane Association, P.O.
