He was born in Plainfield, NJ on October 24, 1949. He was the son of the late Clement and Justina Dellaventura Carfaro. He was an Information Technologist for Bear-Stearns Inc. He enjoyed playing softball and played for the Sun City Men’s Softball Team. He was an avid New York Yankee fan. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren. He attended Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church. He is survived by his children, Justina Breen of Manville, NJ, William Carfaro of Staten Island, NY and Nicole Young of Branchburg, NJ; sisters, Carmella Tippy of Boonton, NJ and Janet Heinzer of South Plainfield, NJ; brothers, Salvatore Carfaro of Somerset, NJ, Clement Carfaro of Chester, NJ and Frank Carfaro of Long Valley, NJ; and five grandchildren. He is predeceased by two siblings, Joseph Carfaro and Angie Ippolito. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC at 11:00 am on Friday, May 7, 2010.
