After a courageous two year battle with Multiple Myeloma, Albert Herman Deleeuw left this earth to be with our Lord and Savior. Born in Los Angeles on June 17th, 1961, and adopted by Anne and Gary Deleeuw. Al grew up loving and playing the sport of soccer and after traveling to England with his father and meeting Ron Yates (retired captain), became a die-hard fan of the Liverpool Futball Club. After working most of his life in Retail Management, he transitioned to a new career path at Gulfstream Aerospace, which in his words was the "best" job he'd ever had. Al had a true love for the Lord, demonstrated by his loving parents.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Shelly Almori Deleeuw, and his son Elijah Benjamin Deleeuw. He has two sisters, Dianne Deleeuw Chapman and Marianne Deleeuw living in the Los Angeles area.
A memorial service will be held at Low Country Community Church (801 Buckwalter Parkway in Bluffton, SC) on April 28th, at 4:00 pm.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
