Carol Jagoe, recently of Bluffton, SC, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018. She was 92.
Carol was born and lived in New Brunswick, NJ until her marriage to Robert Jagoe in 1952. They raised their family in Lloyd Harbor, NY, before moving to Danville, CA in 1974. Carol worked as a medical secretary for over 40 years before her retirement. She was an avid reader, lover of flowers, and gardener who lovingly cared for dozen of rose bushes in her California garden. Before settling in South Carolina for warmer weather, she lived in State College, PA for six years where she enjoyed her community at Village Heights, the Arboretum at Penn State, and attending services at St. John’s United Church in Boalsburg. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Robert Jagoe. Carol is survived by her two daughters, Nancy Crom of Bluffton, SC and Cathie Kenny of State College, PA and their husbands, Michael Crom and John Kenny. She also leaves behind her four grandchildren, Lauren and her husband Will, Brendan, Nicole, and Alexander. She also will be missed by her two beautiful great grandbabies, Anneliese and Britta Kirkman.
Our heartfelt thanks to her compassionate caregivers at both the Palmettos of Bluffton and Hospice Care of the Lowcountry. Interment service will be held at Calverton National Cemetery, Long Island, NY.
