Cynthia St. Martin Obituary

Cynthia Lynn St. Martin, 60, of Bluffton, SC passed away quietly at her home on Thursday, October 31, 2019. Cynthia was born December 21, 1958 in Knox, IN to Ronald Francis St. Martin and Kay Marlene St. Martin. She is survived by her husband Richard Baker and his daughter Amanda Baker, both her parents, her brother Ron and his wife Kris in Indiana, and her sister Mary Charles in California.

Cynthia received her B.A. degree in 1981 and her Masters of Library Science degree in 1982 from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.  Afterwards she worked in several community libraries in Indiana and at the Indiana State Library.

By far Cynthia's favorite hobby was reading, followed by her interests in travel, especially overseas, clothes shopping, and decorating.  She didn’t care for cooking, but she was rather good at it.  Throughout the years she maintained close ties to her family, her Sigma Kappa sorority sisters, and to her friends in Phoenix and Indianapolis.  All of us will miss her so much.

Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton is assisting with the final arrangements.  A small memorial service will be held in Mitchell, Indiana with her family and friends.  Those wishing to make donations in her memory can send personal checks to…
