Diane is survived by her husband of 44 years Bob, Her daughter’s family, Erinn, Jim and Granddaughter Zoey.
Diane was a kind loving woman whose central focus in life was her family. When Erinn went off to school, she pursued her own education by graduating from what is now known as The College of New Jersey with a degree in Psychology. After several unrewarding years in the corporate world, she went back to school to get her teaching degree from Rider College. Using her psychology degree, she volunteered with an organization that helped battered women called Womanspace.
Over several years she would respond with a couple of local police departments as part of the” Domestic Violence Victim Response Team” helping victims and their family in any way she could. Diane was an animal lover, volunteering at a local shelter in New Jersey for years. Diane and Bob moved to Bluffton in 2009, where she loved volunteering at St. Gregory’s and participating in Book Club, and Ladies Golf with the wonderful women of The Crescent.
To continue Diane’s affection to battered women the charity of choice is Hopeful Horizons a local shelter for the abused and their family, contributions can be a Tribute in Diane’s name. www.hopefulhorizons.org
