Edward (Ed) Neuman, 73, passed away on November 14, 2019 after a long battle with cancer at his home in Moss Creek where he had resided happily since 2014. He was an active member of the golfing community.
Ed was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1946, the son of the late John and Caroline (Guth) Neuman. After serving a tool and dye apprenticeship and several years in the Navy, Ed found his true calling, which was Sales! Ed is survived by his wife Carol of 47 years, son Brian, and daughter Andrea Stone, her husband Nathan Stone, grandson Kevin, and granddaughter Katherine and his many friends and caring neighbors in Moss Creek. His loves were his family, golf, traveling, being with friends, and the Chicago Cubs.
Ed’s family is grateful for the love and support from numerous friends and caregivers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of the Lowcountry or The Moss Creek Charitable Foundation. A service will be held at Sauls Funeral Home in Bluffton at 11:00 AM on Tuesday.
