Linda Pearson Brown, age 72, of Bluffton died Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, GA.
Mrs. Brown was born on January 4, 1947 in Portland, OR, the daughter of the late Henry Sherman Finley and Hazel Sundburg Finley. She worked as a Compensation Manager in Human Resources. Linda was of Christian faith and enjoyed travelling, reading, and cooking, but most of all, being with her family.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her brother, Dale Zimmerdahl. She was the loving wife of Edward; loving mother to sons, Gregory Keith Pearson (Laurie) of Dallas, TX and Matthew Jay Pearson (Theresa) of Atlanta, GA; sister of Peggy Banick (John) of Moline, IL; and loving grandmother of Peyton Pearson, Zoe Pearson, Julius Pearson, and Ivy Pearson.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2019 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the Brown family recommends a donation to the National Psoriasis Foundation, a non-profit organization, that Linda was a longtime member and advocate.
