Martha Sandfort Schaad

Martha Sandfort Schaad, born Martha Hilda Book in Louisville, Kentucky – July 29, 1931. Martha lived in Louisville, Kentucky with her husband Paul Sandfort and her five children until she relocated to Sun City Bluffton, SC in 1997. Martha was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Parish, volunteering on several committees and at the Hardeeville Thrift Store in Ridgeland. She had a career in real estate in Louisville, Kentucky.

Martha was predeceased by her spouses, Paul Sandfort and Alex Schaad and her sister, Aileen Shaaf. She will be lovingly remembered by her children and their spouses, Bonnie (Tom) Shaughnessy, Mike (Pam) Sandfort, Ann (Dennis) Zvosec, John (Eva) Sandfort, Joe (Lynn) Sandfort, and her stepchildren, Bruce (Bonnie) Schaad, Kent (Jovonnie) Schaad, and Gayle (Eric) Anderson. Martha had 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

A memorial for Martha will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at St. Andrew Chapel, 220 Pinckney Colony Road Bluffton, SC 29909. The family will receive friends and guests after the service.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Martha Catholic Church in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday, November 10, 2018.
