Robert Donald Passon

Robert Donald Passon, age 81, of Sun City, Okatie, SC and formerly of Annapolis, MD passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Hilton Head Hospital.

Mr. Passon was born on April 19, 1937 in Hazelton, PA, the son of the late Joseph and Maria Triano Passon. He served in the National Guard, was a professional musician, and worked in finance and car sales. After the death of his wife, he spent his retirement years cheering on teams of Sun City Softball of which he was their #1 fan.

Mr. Passon was preceded in death by his wife, Fleeta L. Passon; daughters, Sharon K. Griffith and Barbara L. Bannon; and brothers, Jerome, David, and Wayne Passon. He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Bannon of Kent Island, MD and Karon J. Miller (Robert W. Miller) of Okatie, SC; brother, Joseph “Joel” Passon (Mary); grandchildren, David Landgraf, Jennifer  Christ (John), John Schindler (Tamara), Ginger Griffith, Derek Griffith (Noel), Michael Phebus (Alissa), Kim Rozylowicz (Tom) and Rob Miller (Natalie); 15 great grandchildren; several nephews and one niece.

A memorial service will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Lasting Tributes, Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam, 814 Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD 21401.
