Virginia Lucille Hogan

Virginia Lucille Hogan, 95, of Hilton Head Island, SC and formerly of Bluffton, SC passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Broad Creek Care Center of Hilton Head.

Virginia was born May 27, 1923 in Alliance, Ohio to the late John Harding and Ladona Bloyer Harding. Virginia and her late husband, George W. Hogan, were long-time residents of Sun City, where she was involved in numerous special interests and activity groups. She loved being a part of the 9-Hole Women's Golf Group. During the last five years of her life, she resided at Brookdale of Hilton Head.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Lisa M. Hogan of Littleton, CO; sons, Terry A. Hogan (Yvonne) and Kevin H. Hogan (Cheryl), both of PA; sister, Charlotte Welch of Kettering, OH; grandchildren, Lia Fryer, Marielle Rujevcan, Madison Rujevcan, Jamie Hogan, Jennifer Arrington, and Robyn Hogan; Shane Hogan, Ryan Hogan, and Troy Hogan. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Holly A. Rujevcan, and sister, Louise Haywood.

A memorial service will take place in spring of 2019 at Beaufort National Cemetery. Details will be announced at a later date.
