Debra Lee Phillips, Bluffton, SC
Sunrise July 1, 1951 - Sunset October 30, 2013
After a life time of illness Debra left us to go be with the Lord.
She was born at the Marine Corps Air Station Hospital, Cherry Point, NC and had lived with her parents in North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, California and Hawaii.
On her own she worked in Florida and South Carolina until becoming unable to work she returned to Bluffton to be near her parents. She was kind to and loved everybody.
She is survived by her parents, Captain Phil Phillips, US Marines retired; mother, Joanne S. Phillips of Bluffton; brother, Major Wayne Phillips, SCANG, retired, Spangenhelm Air Force Base, Germany; daughter, Kristina and granddaughter, Kiersten Burdette all of Bluffton; special uncle and aunt, Dr. Johnny and Sylvia Phillips of Rocky Mount, NC. She was predeceased by her sister, Barbara Miller and brother, Keith Phillips. Also survivors are brothers and sisters, Tina Mason, Billy Sadler and Georgie Sadler, Roxy Gwynn, Richmond, VA, Ann Hudick, Roanoke, VA, Joanna Brice, San Antonio, TX and Carol Adkins, Bluffton.
The family wishes to thank friends, neighbors and THA Group Island Hospice who were with us during this difficult time.
