Jesse Tillman Kendrick

Jesse Tillman Kendrick, 71, of Varnville, SC passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. He was born in Augusta, GA on December 24, 1939 to the late Mack Kendrick and Mary Spivey Kendrick. He was a Carpenter. He loved to work with wood and could build anything and he enjoyed fishing. He was a Baptist.He is survived by his wife, Sue R. Kendrick of Varnville, SC; one son, Jesse (Holly) Kendrick, Jr. of Charleston, SC; four daughters, Terri (Coleman) Bell of Bluffton, SC; Angela Summers of Varnville, SC; Melody Griggs of Charleston, SC; Crystal (Allen) Hansen of Okatie, SC; one sister, Clara Ford of Augusta, GA; grandchildren, James, Mark, Michelle, Jennifer, Matthew, Zachery, Josh and Jessica and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland is assisting the family with their arrangements.
