Sharon Williams Summerall

April 28, 1956 — March 11, 2020

Mrs. Sharon Summerall, 63, of Okatie, SC passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at MUSC in Charleston with her beloved family by her side. Born in Camden, SC, she was the daughter of the late Howard Williams and Miriam Williams Powers. She was a devoted mother, wife, and friend to many. Her passions included caring for her two dogs, Sadie and Jackson, tending to her gardens, and bird-watching in her backyard.

Surviving are her loving husband, John Summerall of Okatie; sons, Will Summerall of Columbia and Wesley Summerall of Charleston; sister, Lisa Howard Dodd (Tom) of Florida; nieces, Chelsea Moore of California, Chloe Moore Sinnard of California, Shiloh Moore of Charleston, and Acacia Anderson of Florida; and devoted family friend, Sheri Watson of Kershaw.  Sheri and Sharon had the same deep passion for cheering on their favorite sports teams, including the Andrew Jackson High School Volunteers, USC Gamecocks, and the Atlanta Braves. Sharon’s precious memory will remain forever in our hearts!

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton.

Because of Sharon’s deep love of animals, the family requests memorial donations be sent in lieu of flowers to Jasper Animal Rescue Mission, PO Box 1179 Ridgeland, SC 29936.
