Abigail Lesser Schreiber

Abigail (Lesser) Schreiber of Hardeeville, SC passed away July 16th after a brief illness. She was born in Buffalo, NY on August 12, 1957. She graduated from Kenmore East High School in 1975 and went on to earn her bachelor degree in engineering from the University of Buffalo. Abby is survived by her husband of 38 years, Douglas Scheiber, daughters Elizabeth and Allison (Clifford), granddaughter, Robin, sister Margaret (Timothy) Busch and nephews Alexander and Benjamin. She was a history buff and volunteered her time at the Davenport House in Savannah for several years. Abby was a devoted wife, mother, and "Nanny" to Robin and loved taking her granddaughter on their own personal field trips in Savannah and the Lowcountry. Her proudest achievement was teaching Robin how to read and write while homeschooling her during Covid from Kindergarten through 2nd grade. She enjoyed her garden and watching the birds in her yard. Abby was happy traveling to new places and sitting on the beach but happiest anytime she was with her family. Burial will be private.
