Adam Thomas PinckneyBluffton, SC Adam Thomas Pinckney, 24, died Saturday, September 8, 2007 in Bluffton, SC. He was born in Savannah, GA on September 19, 1982. He was the son of Thomas C. (Clay) Pinckney and Tamela Harrell Maxim. He was a student and a lifetime member of the Georgia Salzburger Society. He was a Christian. He was a former kayak and canoe instructor and a guide for kayak and canoe excursions. He enjoyed working with children.He is survived by his father, Thomas C. (Clay) Pinckney, of Okatie, SC.; his mother and step father, Tamela Harrell Maxim and Nicholas Maxim of Bluffton, SC.; his paternal step grandfather, Donald Pinckney and step grandmother, Burnette Daley Pinckney of Ridgeland, SC.; his maternal grandparents, George W. and Annelore Stelljes Harrell, of Bluffton, SC.; one sister, Claire Gnann Pinckney of Bluffton, SC.; and one nephew, Taylor Pinckney of Bluffton, SC. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Thomas Pinckney and Beverly Hagadorn Pinckney.Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, September 14, 2007 at the Church of the Cross, 110 Calhoun St., Bluffton, SC with burial in the Pinckney Colony Family Cemetery.
