Adeline "Addie" Gibson

Adeline “Addie” Gibson, age 86, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Delaware County, PA died Thursday, September 6, 2018 at NHC of Bluffton.

Mrs. Gibson was born on August 3, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Albert and Catherine Grosse. She worked as an accountant in New Jersey, retiring after 25 years of service. While living in Bluffton she was a faithful member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Okatie. Addie enjoyed bocce and dancing.

Mrs. Gibson is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Albert L. Gibson; children, Barbara “Bobbie” Boyer, Edwin “Eddie” Boyer (Lig), Cheryl Kusek (John), Stephen Boyer (Ruth), Gary Gibson (Cathy), Wayne Gibson (Susan), and Carole Tolson; brother, Tony Grosse (Eleanor); 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Hospice Care of the Lowcountry.
