Adolfo Taboada

Adolfo “Abba” Taboada passed away peacefully on 1/24/18. Abba was a warm, gentle man who was passionate about the things he loved: his family, friends, soccer and pickle ball. He was a devoted employee of Fortunoff for over 30 years working in the design department. His co- workers were extended family to him. All who knew him shared in his humor, which always put a smile on your face. He is survived by his wife, Gail, who was by his side until the very end. He is also survived by his mother, Raquel; his 3 sons Adolfo (Cece), Tomas (Nicole) and Justin; and his step-daughters Lisa (David) Meyers and Amy Friedman. Adolfo also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Nathan, Austin, Rose, Issac, Reese, Marley and Sadie. A memorial service will be held in Adolfo’s honor on Friday February 2, 2018 at 2 pm at Canterfield Of Bluffton 567 North Okatie Highway Ridgeland, SC. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, 7 Plantation Park Dr. Unit 4 Bluffton, SC 29910.
