Alan Harvey Gabriel

Alan Harvey Gabriel, 69 of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Falmouth, Maine passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at his home.He was born in Oneonta, NY on October 24, 1941. He was the son of the late Jules and Marion Wallace Gabriel.He was Director of Credit Operations for J C Penny, Alcott and Andrews and Wright Express. Since 1998 he was the publisher of the Cobygram. He was a graduate of Cobleskill High School and Rider College of New Jersey.He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Biegeleisen of Bluffton; three sons, Geoffrey Gabriel of Boulder, CA, Adam (Jamie) Biegeleisen of Cliffside Park, NJ and Eric (Allyson) Biegeleisen of Boston, MA; one daughter, Allison (Scott) Schulman of Voorhees, NJ and grandchildren, Jamie and Carly Schulman, Sam Biegeleisen and Reece Biegeleisen. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton with burial in Oseh Shalom Memorial Gardens.The family requests memorial gifts be made to Temple Oseh Shalom or Serenity Hospice.Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton is assisting the family with their arrangements.
