Alan Neil Keller

Alan Neil Keller passed away on February 8, 2026, in Hilton Head, South Carolina. He was 78 years old.

Born on August 8, 1947, in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Alan was the son of Richard and Jackie Keller. He grew up with a strong sense of community and a generous spirit that remained with him throughout his life.

Alan was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol Keller; his father, Richard Keller; his sister, Richelle Keller; his daughter, Lori Brownfield; and his son-in-law, Steve Plowden. His memory lives on through those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Jackie Keller; daughters Toni Keller Butts (Daryl), Sally Brownfield, and Lisa Plowden; grandchildren Hunter Roberson (Kierra) and Jessie & Cassidy Plowden. Each of them carries forward a part of Alan’s legacy.

Alan had a passion for bridge and could often be found enjoying a game with friends. A devoted fan of the Braves, he followed the team faithfully. He also had a deep affection for cats and took great pride in cultivating roses—both pursuits that reflected his quiet appreciation for beauty and companionship.

Known for his willingness to help a friend in need, Alan’s kindness left an impression on many. Whether offering support during difficult times or simply lending a hand when it was needed most, he embodied generosity in action.

A memorial service will be held March 6th, 2026, in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Please contact family for further details regarding time and place.
