He was a mentor and role model for thousands of students. After retirement he enjoyed woodworking and remodeling houses. He was greatly beloved by his wife, Sally, and their three children, Bruce “Duke” Baker of Hilton Head, Steve Baker of Bedford, NH, and Patricia Johnson of Dallas, TX. His legacy will live on through his 7 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren. There will be a family Memorial Service at Six Oaks Cemetery in Hilton Head on December 28 at 11 AM.
