Albert Umberto Cervini

Albert Cervini age 82, of Sun City, died on August 10th at home. He was born to Francesco and Assunta Cervini in Providence, Rhode Island on June 4, 1930.He is predeceased by his wife Alice of Sun City, Brother Carl of Holden, Massachusetts, and Sister Lydia Labrie of Smithfield, Rhode Island. He is survived by one son, Michael and Helen Cervini (nee Maxon) of Weatherford, Oklahoma, one daughter Patrica Cervini of Arlington, Virginia and a sister Mary and James Donovan of Warwick, Rhode Island.Al was a U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel having retired in 1970. He, along with Alice, followed his military service by establishing a family owned communications services company in Alexandria, Virginia.Al and Alice retired to Sun City Hilton Head in November, 1997, enjoyed the Active Lifestyle of the Community and were both very active in Volunteer work. Al was a member of the Sun City Veterans Association.Al was blessed with a happy marriage of 59 years, a loving family and many friends.A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Andrews Chapel, Pinckney Colony Road, Bluffton on Friday, August 17, at 11:00 am.
