Albert D. Cooler, 85, of Hephzibah, GA and formally of Ridgeland SC passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013 in the Trinity Hospital, Augusta, GA.
He was born in Ridgeland, SC on June 2, 1928 to the late David and Ida Walls Cooler. He was a retired Iron Worker and a member of the Iron Workers Local #709 in Savannah, GA. He was a US Army veteran in World War II and he was a member of the Red Dam Baptist Church in Hardeeville, SC.
He is survived by his sons, C. Al Cooler of Ridgeland, SC, Harry Carver (Cheryl) of Hephzibah, GA and Dale Carver of Titusville, FL; one daughter, Debbie Robinson (John) of West Virginia; one sister, Eula Cooler (Arthur) of Hardeeville, SC and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by one brother, Donald W. Cooler.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the Red Dam Baptist Church, Hardeeville, SC with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 til 8 pm, Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland, SC.
