Albert Layfayette Gibson

Albert L. Gibson 91 of Bluffton, S.C. Passed away April 25th at Memorial Health Center Savannah, Ga. Al was born in Delaware County Pa. to Gardner and Bertha Gibson on Jan.18 1931. He was a graduate of Collingdale High School. Served in the Air Force and was discharged in 1958. He spent his working career in the Philadelphia Area as a union sheet metal fabricator. After retiring Al and Adeline(Addie) moved to Sun City, Bluffton, S.C. In 1998, Al and Adeline(Addie) became a member of St. Luke’s UMC Bluffton S.C. Al loved traveling the world, playing golf and loved his home and neighbors in Sun City where he resided for almost 25 years. Al is survived by daughter Carole Tolson, son Gary Gibson(Cathy), son Wayne Gibson(Susan), niece Beverly Hershey, Step Children, Barbara(Bobbie) Brosko, Edwin Boyer(Lig), Stephen Boyer(Ruth), Cheryl Kusek(John), Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at St. Luke’s Methodist Church 3080 Okatie Highway Rt.170 Bluffton, S.C. Time 10:30 am May 11th
