Albert L. Kleckley, Sr.

Albert Lloyd Kleckley Sr., 66, of Okatie, SC passed away at his home on Thursday, March 4, 2010.He was born in Ridgeland, SC on September 26, 1943. He was the son of the late Leman Daniel and Isabelle Beach Kleckley Sr.He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and the USC Law School. He served as an Attorney in Ridgeland. He was a member of the Ridgeland Baptist Church. He was the Godfather of the South Carolina Mafia Racing Team. He was a former member of the South Carolina House of Representatives. He was one of the first Judges elected to serve in South Carolina Family Court Judicial System.He is survived by his wife, Linda Cook Kleckley of Grays, SC; two sons, Albert Lloyd (Buster) Kleckley Jr. of Ridgeland, SC and Michael G. Dwyer of Tamarac, FL; and several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. A Life Celebration will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in the Ridgeland Baptist Church Social Hall, 1448 Grays Highway, Ridgeland, SC.
