Alfred Edward Miller Jr.

Alfred Edward Miller Jr., 82, formerly of Cape Carteret, NC passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2013 in NHC of Bluffton, SC. He was born in Wilson, NC on April 25, 1931 to the late Alfred Edward and Neta Dixon Miller. He was a retired Assistant Director for the North Carolina Division of Veteran's Affairs and he was a US Navy veteran. In retirement he enjoyed fishing and sitting on the beach with friends. He is survived by two sons, Steven E. Miller (Mary) of Bluffton, SC and Bruce A. Miller (Norene) of Raleigh, NC; three grandchildren, Joseph (Christina), Mary Anne (Phil), Manning and three great grandchildren, Baylee, Logan, Jaxon. He was predeceased by his wife, Margueritte Ann Johnson Miller. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, July 15, 2013 in the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, July 15, 2013 in the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC.
