Allen Haskell Casey

Allen Haskell Casey, 99 of Bluffton, SC passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2009 in the Veterans Victory House, Walterboro, SC.He was born in Hill City, TX on March 21, 1910. He was the son of the late Patrick and Lizzie Belt Casey.He was a retired Civil Service Contractor. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bluffton. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II. He participated in the liberation of the Philippines. He was the oldest member of the Sun City Veterans Club.He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Dorothy L. Casey of Bluffton, SC; and one daughter and son in law, Doris and Dan Natale of Bluffton, SC.Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, August 20, 2009 in the Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC with burial at 1:30 pm in the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC. The family will receive friends from 5 til 7, Wednesday evening at the funeral home. The family requests memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Bluffton Building Fund, P.O.
