Althera Cooler TantHardeeville, SCAlthera Cooler Tant, 73, widow of John Calhoun Tant, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at her home in Hardeeville, SC.She was born in Hardeeville, SC on October 4, 1936 to the late Clint Cooler and Pearl Bradham Cooler.She was a homemaker and a member of Red Dam Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and watching movies.She is survived by her son, John (Allyson) Tant of Hardeeville, SC; three daughters, Lynn (John) Kessler of Rincon, GA; Mary (Harry) Davis of Hardeeville, SC; Sylvia (Dr. Ronald) Ginn of Rose Hill, NC; one brother, Thomas Cooler of Hardeeville, SC; one sister, Jackie Altman also of Hardeeville, SC; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters and one daughter.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Red Dam Baptist Church in Hardeeville, SC with burial in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 til 8 pm, Friday, November 20, 2009 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams Avenue., Ridgeland, SC.
