Amelia Krapf Williams

Amelia Krapf Williams, age 107, of Bluffton died Saturday, December 29, 2018 at home.

Mrs. Williams was born on September 28, 1911 in Hershey, PA, the daughter of the late Rev. Frederick and Elizabeth Krapf. She was a 1933 graduate of Susquehanna University. Following her formal education she worked as a high school teacher for many years, teaching history and German, as well as piano lessons at home.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her loving husband of 31 years, Howard J. Williams. She is survived by her daughters, Janet W. Garnjost (John T.) and Ellen W. Gifford (Frederick M.); grandchildren, Alison, Valerie, Jed, and Josh; and great-grandchildren, Avery, Julie, and Jacob.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2019 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. A graveside funeral service will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Elizabeth, NJ in April 2019.
