Andrew Wyman Stanley

Andrew Wyman Stanley, 69, of Walterboro, SC passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Stanley was born on March 16, 1946 in Grays, SC, the son of the late Rosa Nell Mixson and Edgar T. Stanley. He was the retired owner of Stanley Land Clearing Co., a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Walterboro, and a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed motorcycles and hunting; he loved spending time with his family.

Mr. Stanley was predeceased by his brothers, Vincent Stanley, Ben Stanley, and Edgar Stanley and two sisters, Louise Smith and Helen Dennis. He is survived by his wife, Linda Horton Stanley of Walterboro, SC; sons, Andrew “Andy” W. Stanley (Lorie) of Walterboro, SC, Al Stanley (Renee) of Walterboro, SC, and Mark Stanley (Allison) of Walterboro, SC; brother, Olin Stanley (Cindy) of Bradley, SC; sisters Elizabeth Zahler of Goose Creek, SC, Janie Heape of Varnville, SC, and Betty Mixson of Lodge, SC; and grandchildren Jessi Stanley, Hunter Stanley, Caitlin Stanley, McCayla Stanley, Lindsey Stanley, Tucker Stanley, and Bailee Stanley.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Beaver Dam Baptist Church, Ridgeland, SC with burial at Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. until the hour of the service.
