Anita Rose Rodgers died September 19, 2016. Anita Rose was born February 19, 1931 in Lyndhurst, N.J. She was the daughter of Anthony Duarte Lobo and Fanny Marie Lobo (nee Guida). Anita had a good life and good family. She loved many things, but most of all her husband of 63 years, Charles A. Rodgers, whom she is survived by. She leaves behind three children: Judith Ann Rodgers and son-in-law William P Green Jr., Jacqueline Ann Storts, and Charles Anthony James Rodgers; five grandchildren: William Patrick Green and his wife Michele Duskin Green, Kathryn Chelsea Green (Kaycie), Nicholas Gregory Storts, Madeline Anita Storts, Alexander William Storts. Also her cousin James Guida and wife MaryAnn, who were as close as a brother and sister to her. She was also pre-deceased by her grandson William Charles Green in 1983. A 10:30 am service will be held on September 20th at St. Francis by the Sea Roman Catholic Church on Hilton Head Island, S.C. Anita requested that any contributions be sent to Hospice Care of the Low country, a compassionate non-profit organization, who provided her with ultimate care, kindness and dignity.
