Ann Margaret Bolden

Ann Margaret Bolden, the daughter of the late Lucille Bush and Clifford Fripp, was born May 23, 1929, in Jasper County, South Carolina.

She received her formal education in the Jasper County school system. Shortly after primary school, she relocated to New York. She accepted God as her Lord and Savior and became a member of Central Baptist Church in Manhattan, New York. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, who warmed the hearts of many with her nurturing touch.

She was employed as a housekeeper of Park Lane Hotel in New York for over 20 years. After retiring she occupied her time with caring for children as a sitter.

On November 7, 2022, Ann peacefully answered God's call home. She leaves to cherish her memories her granddaughter Charlene Bolden of Ridgeland, South Carolina; four great-grandchildren Shante Brooks (Clarence) of Ridgeland, South Carolina, Tauren Nelson of Ridgeland, South Carolina, Trevon Bolden of Dallas, Texas and Shakera Bolden of Summerville, South Carolina; nine great great-grandchildren; eight sisters, Carrie Harris of Atlanta, Georgia, Albertha Hager of Charlotte, North Carolina, NellieMitchell of Ridgeland, South Carolina, the late Flosie Mae Bush-Smalls, Martha Major and Dolly Fripp both of Okatie, South Carolina, Viola Fripp of Tacoma Park, Maryland, and the late Helen Fripp; one adopted sister the late Helen Bolden; five brothers Albert Bush of Bluffton, South Carolina, Henry Bolden of New York, Edward Fripp of Savannah, Georgia, and both the late Jessie Bush and Henry Fripp; five aunts the late Magdalene Nelson, Marion Jenkins, Clara Bolden, Elizabeth Hamilton, and Suzie Bolden; two uncles both the late Ernest Bolden and Rufus Bolden; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and sorrowing friends.

Ann was predeceased by her daughter Sarah Bolden, grandson Keith Bolden and dear friend Marion Bush.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, November 14, 2022 at Low Bottom Cemetery, Ridgeland, SC.
