Ann Betty (Vasek) Zanzig

Ann B. Zanzig, age 89, of Bluffton, SC died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at home.

Mrs. Zanzig was born on July 30, 1929 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Martin and Anna Vasek. She worked as a caregiver for the terminally ill. She was a member and Stephen Minister with Lord of Life Lutheran Church. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Zanzig and son, James D. Zanzig. She is survived by her son, Robert J. Zanzig (Marcie); daughters, Kathy Shields (Robert) and Nancy J. Thurston; brother, Martin Vasek (Billie); sister, Emily Johnson (Richard); eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and eight godchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church.
