Ann Jeffords Wright

Ann Jeffords Wright, 79, of Bluffton, SC passed away July 19, 2021.

She was born on January 3, 1942 to the late Albert and Mae (Hall) Jeffords in Florence, SC.  She graduated from Winthrop College and worked in the field of education, retiring from South Island Public Services, after thirty years.

Ann married Charles “Bill” William Wright, Jr. in March 1969.  They enjoyed a beautiful life together.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Wright Brown (2011) and her three brothers, William Albert Jeffords, Jr. (Mildred), Herbert Andrew Jeffords (Ann), and Leon Mitchell Jeffords.

In addition to her husband, Ann is survived by her brother, Thomas “Tommy” Charles Jeffords (Carol); nephew, Will Jeffords (Meredith); grandchildren, Anthony Byron Brown III and Hilah Ann Brown; and her sister-in-law, Betty Jeffords. She will be missed by many.

Memorial Service & Inurnment will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, July 30, 2021 at Church of The Cross, Calhoun Street, Bluffton, SC.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
