Anna Catherine Miller

Anna Catherine Miller, 23, of Bluffton, SC passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Hilton Head Regional Medical Center in Hilton Head, SC. She was born on July 15, 1988 in Charleston, SC. She was the daughter of John M. and Sally Dunbar Miller.She was a Sales Associate at Goodwill. She was a member of the South Carolina and national chapter of the National Federation of the Blind. She was a 2009 graduate of Bluffton High School and she was an Advocate for Braille Literacy. She enjoyed horseback riding with Heroes on Horseback, kayaking with her father, and shopping with her mother. Her legacy lives on in that she was an organ donor. She is survived by her father and mother, John M. and Sally D. Miller of Bluffton, SC; three brothers, Andrew Miller of Charleston, SC, CPO Benjamin Miller, USN of Jacksonville, FL, and Leo Miller of Bluffton, SC; two sisters, Natasha Miller of Bluffton, SC and Gianna Miller of Long Island, NY. Services will be held at 6:00 pm Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 351 Buckwalter Parkway, Bluffton, SC 29910. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the National Federation of the Blind of South Carolina Scholarship Fund, 119 S. Kilbourne Rd, Columbia, SC 29205.
