Annelle Hutchinson Fort

Annelle Hutchinson Fort, 81, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Roper Hospital in Charleston, SC. She was born in Pembroke, GA on March 01, 1932 to the late Frank and Nettie Blitch Hutchinson. She was a native of Pembroke, GA and moved to Savannah, GA as a young adult and worked for Skeffington Realty Co. for many years. She was active in Lamarville Baptist Church and later moved to Ridgeland, SC and married Billy K. Fort, who predeceased her in 1987. Since then she lived with her Sister In Law and family where she was loved and respected. She was an Eastern Star member and a dedicated member of Coosawhatchie Baptist Church. She is survived by two sisters, Mary (Bob) James of Lawrenceville, GA; Betty (Melvin) Lindsey of Bloomingdale, GA; two sisters in law, Nada Fort Williams of Coosawhatchie, SC; Elizabeth (Robbie) Rahn of Pembroke, GA; special care givers, Nell and Billy Ryan and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Coosawhatchie Baptist Church with burial in Ridgeland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the hour of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Coosawhatchie Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 479, Ridgeland, SC 29936 or a charity of one's choice. Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland is assisting the family with their arrangements. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Coosawhatchie Baptist Church in Ridgeland with burial in Ridgeland Cemetery.
