Annie Elizabeth Malphrus (Libby) Harper

Elizabeth (Libby) M. HarperHardeeville, SCAnnie Elizabeth Malphrus Harper, 76, widow of Harry A. Harper, died January 6, 2009 at her home in Hardeeville, SC.She was born in Ridgeland, SC on August 26, 1932 to the late William Malphrus and Oneida Nettles Malphrus.She was retired from Hargray Communications where she worked in Customer Service and Sales. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Maye River Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Harry J. (Deborah) Harper and Charles A. (Anita) Harper of Hardeeville, SC; one brother, William (Winky) Malphrus of Hampton, SC; three sisters, Myrtis Stevenson of Hilton Head, SC; Kathryn King of Weatherford, TX and Martha Ann Cannon of Ridgeland, SC; daughter in law, Nancy C. Harper of Hardeeville, SC; nine grandchildren, Nikki, Kristy, Hayley, Kim, Jodi, Bryan, Cody, Donnie and Shane and seven great grandchildren, Conner, Jordyn, Alexis, Peyton, Kristy, Alex and Kane. She was preceded in death by two sons, Al Harper and Larry A. Harper.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Maye River Baptist Church in Okatie, SC with burial in Maye River Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 til 8 pm, with Eastern Star Funeral Rites beginning at 7:30 pm on Friday, January 9, 2009 at Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland, SC.
