Annie Mae Mulligan Smith-Jones

Annie Mae Mulligan Smith-Jones, 87, widow of M. Randolph Smith, died Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Life Care of Hilton Head, Hilton Head Island, SC.She was born in Ridgeland, SC on September 1, 1920. She was the daughter of the late James Edward and Jenny McBride Mulligan Sr.She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Bluffton Garden Club; member of St. Helena Baptist Church; former member of Bluffton United Methodist Church and a volunteer for the Bluffton Marine Rescue Squadron.She is survived by her son, Richard R. (JoAnn) Smith of Bluffton, SC; one brother, James Edward (Sonya) Mulligan Jr. of Williston, SC; one daughter in law, Frances T. Smith of Goreville, IL; two grandchildren, Brian and Travis Smith; and four great grandchildren, Tyson, Amanda, Amber and Madison Smith. She was predeceased by one son, Marion Eugene Smith.Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, October 7, 2007 in the Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC with burial in the Bluffton Cemetery. A visitation will be from 5 til 7, Saturday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations to the Hilton Head Humane Society, P.O.
