Anthony Meley

Anthony Meley, 70, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 26, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of the late Anthony and Albina Patriarca Meley.He was the supervisor of Long Island Rail Road in Jamaica, Queens, New York. He moved to Bluffton from New Jersey in July of 2008. He was a member of the Sun City Golf Club and was an avid golfer. He was a Catholic. He was kind and a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed life with his family and friends.He was predeceased by his brother, Vincent Meley.He is survived by his wife, Marge P. Meley of Bluffton, SC; two sons, Vincent Meley of New York, NY and Anthony Meley (Lee) of Greensboro, NC; one daughter, Dawn DiMedici (Michael) of Bluffton, SC; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Gianna, Dana, Vincent, Mikey, Michael, Joseph, Frankie, Mia, and Dominick.The family will receive friends on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 2 til 5 pm and from 7 til 9 pm, with a Wake Service at 8:30 pm at Sauls Funeral Home in Bluffton. A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 11 am at Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton.
