April Elaine Travis

April Elaine Travis entered eternal rest on Thursday November 13, 2025 after a long illness. Her parents and caring medical team surrounded her.

Born on June 17, 1981, April lived a life marked by kindness, love for her family and friends, and devoted to those who cared for her. She was a member of Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Pooler, Georgia.

April enjoyed watching TV with her family, chatting with loved ones, and exploring the internet.

April was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Rex and Carrie Travis; her maternal grandparents, Norris and Ethel Cleland; and her aunt, Regina Butterworth.

April is survived by her parents, Terry and Virginia Travis of Midway, Georgia, her brother, Terry Travis, Jr Dana) of Ellabell, Georgia, her aunt, Sandy Hunter Robert) of Murphy, North Carolina, her aunt, Wanda Cooler Wayne) of Ridgeland, South Carolina, her nieces Lilian Travis and Willow Travis of Ellabell, Georgia, her nephew, Cameron Travis of Ellabell, Georgia, and her close friend Chance Reeves of St. Simons Island, Georgia.

The memorial service is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Risen Savior Lutheran Chrurch, 1755 Quacco Road, Pooler, Georgia 31322. Instead of sending flowers, donations may be made to Risen Savior Lutheran Church or to Ovarian Cancer Research.

April will be remembered for her kindness, her strong faith, and the profound love she showed her family and friends.
