Arthur Richard “Art” Garcia

Arthur Richard “Art” Garcia, age 87, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Montclair, VA died Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center. Mr. Garcia was born on May 5, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Arthur and Dorothea Garcia. He worked for Eastman Kodak for many years, retiring in sales with the business graphics division. He enjoyed photography, golf (5 holes-in-one!), chess, and birdwatching. Mr. Garcia is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Elaine W. Garcia; children, Diane Seibert (Greg), Arthur Garcia (Lori), JoAnn Deer (David), and Steven Garcia (Spring); sister, Carol Hamilton; nine grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, December 9, 2017 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 23049 Whyte Hardee Blvd, Hardeeville, SC 29927.
