Arthur Beverly Elliott, Jr., 79, of Bluffton, SC died Friday, October 5, 2012 in Hilton Head Regional Hospital.Born on August 31, 1933 in Charleston, WV, he was the son of the late Arthur Beverly Elliott and Claire deRussy Elliott. He was also predeceased by his daughter, Elizabeth Bradbury Elliott.He lived with his family in Brooklyn, New York during the Second World War and attended Poly Prep Country Day School. In 1946 they moved to Texas and he graduated from high school in Victoria, Texas. Art attended The Rice Institute and graduated from The University of Texas with degrees in Geology and Physics and a Masters Degree in Geology in 1958.In 1958 he married Ann Rutledge Bradbury of Cameron, TX whom he met during graduate school.Art had an interesting, thirty
