Arthur Grant

Arthur "Cass" Grant, son of the late Abraham and Estella H. Grant was born on July 19, 1951 in Bluffton, SC. Mr. Grant, 62, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC. Mr. Grant attended the Beaufort County Public Schools. He worked in the hotel hospitality industry on Hilton Head Island. He was a roofing contractor from 1978 to 1983. In the early 1970's he was a driver for the BJCHS. He was a landscaper and a Baptist. He leaves to cherish his memories his son, Arthur Grant of Williamsport, PA; his grandson, Solomon Arthur Grant of Williamsport, PA; his sisters, Carolyn A. Brown, Louise Whitaker (Ted), Lorean Grant, Carol Pringle (Ray), Calandra Grant and Martha Wilson; his brothers, Jonathan Grant (Pearl), Albert Grant,and Irvin Grant (Teresa), one aunt, Ethel P. Brown, and will be dearly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Grant. Memorial services will be held at 6:30 pm, Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton. The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
