Barbara Marie Brudie

Barbara Marie Brudie, age 75, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Ramsey, NJ died Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, SC. Mrs. Brudie was born on July 21, 1941 in Monroe County, WV, the daughter of Edna and Roscoe Carter. After completing nursing school she worked as a Registered Nurse with Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, NJ for 27 years. She was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks where she held the position of Chaplain in Paramus, NJ. Mrs. Brudie was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Lynn. She is survived by her husband of 10 years, John J. Brudie; son, Palmer; brother, Harry; sisters, Yolanda and Emma Mae; granddaughter, Kerriann; and great-grandchildren, Madison Marie, Mason Joseph, and Kaylynn Marie. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910.
