Barbara Geraldine (Casale) Urato

Barbara Geraldine (Casale) Urato, 79 of Savannah, GA passed away from Covid on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Memorial Heath University Hospital. She was born in Newark, NJ on October 10, 1941.

She was preceded in death by her parents Dominic Anthony Casale & Concetta Casterchini Casale, along with her Great Grandson Holden Thomas Graves.

She is survived to cherish her memory by two daughters Concetta Urato Graves, Gina Elaine Urato and one Son, Joseph Domonic (Donna) Urato. Two cherished grandchildren Alexander Houston (Jessica Schoch) Graves, Sr and Jessica Nichole Graves. Along with the lights of her life 3 Great Grand Children Alexander “Houston” Graves, II, Harper Ann Graves and SydneyRose Ann Clark. Her Sister, Theresa Ann (Casale) Orlando along with several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Barbara attended Bloomfield high school and was an Alumni from Seaton Hall University. She worked as a secretary, mortgage processor, manager for family restaurants until she opened her own cleaning company for 25 years on Hilton Head Island, SC.

She was affectionally know to her friends and family, as “Babs” and was considered to be a kind andcompassionate person, always trying to help others. She was a devout Catholic. She will be missed by all who Loved her.

Family Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at St. Andrews Chapel on Pinckney Colony Road, Bluffton. A repast will be held for family and friends immediately following the service.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in memory of Barbara C Urato to St Jude, Alzheimer's Research or the Ronald McDonald House as these charities were near and dear to her heart.
